Camping cottages
We call our smaller chalets camping cottages. They are 11 m2 and sleep four people in two bunk-beds. They have a kitchenette with one hotplate and a fridge, as well as a wastewater-only sink and a dining table with seating for four. Bed linen and towels are not included, but can be hired on site. There is no running water in the cottage – water and washing-up facilities are available in the service building. The service building also has WCs and showers, as well as a kitchen area with microwaves, running water and other basics required for cooking and washing up.
Location
Just before you get to the car park at the main entrance there is a turn-off for the chalet village and campsite, which is about 250 metres from the park. The chalet village has been sketched in at the bottom left of our map.
Eat breakfast in the park
Our breakfast restaurant serves a tasty breakfast buffet every morning from 08.00. After breakfast you can simply go straight into the park. That way you avoid the queues outside the main entrance, and have the park virtually to yourselves before we open the main gates. Please bear in mind that the breakfast is extremely popular and soon gets fully booked.
Parking
Guests staying at our chalet village and campsite can of course use our main car-park free of charge – simply bring your invoice/confirmation and show it to the parking attendants. Then, when you check into the chalet village, you will find a parking space right next to your chalet.
Checking in and out
You can check in from 14.00 CET on the day of arrival and must check out by 11.00 CET on the day of departure. You arrange a check-out time on arrival, and at the agreed time a member of staff will come to your chalet to inspect the cleaning. You then hand back your key and can set off. If you wish to check in after 18.00 CET, you must notify us in advance to ensure we reserve a chalet/space for you. This applies to bookings which are not fully paid in advance.
In the event of late arrival, inform us via camping@alv.se or call direct on +46 (0)492-798 11. Alternatively phone the booking office on +46 (0)492-798 00.
