Tickets

If you arrive before the check-in time, collect your park admission tickets from the counter at the main entrance of Astrid Lindgren’s World, stating your booking number. The tickets are activated the first day you enter the park and are then valid for two days. You can go in and out of the park as many times as you like for those two days.

Payment

For bookings made more than 30 days before arrival, part of the amount must be paid within 10 days and the balance 30 days before the arrival date. For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, the total amount must be paid immediately. If you choose to pay by invoice, the invoice is always sent by e-mail unless otherwise requested. If you prefer to pay by card instead, you may do so here. Go to the online booking section, Pay for My Booking and follow the instructions. A fee of SEK 50 will be charged if you select paper invoice as the delivery method.

Cancellation without cancellation insurance

In the event of cancellation more than 30 days before the arrival date, the registration fee will not be refunded.
In the event of cancellation less than 30 days before the arrival date, the basic accommodation amount will not be refunded, but tickets and other options in the package will be refunded.

Cancellation with cancellation insurance

If your accommodation agreement includes cancellation insurance and the tenant cancels before the access date due to serious illness, accident or death, affecting the tenant himself/herself or his/her spouse, child, parent, sibling or common law partner, only the insurance fee shall be charged. Any such medical event must be substantiated by a doctor’s certificate.
When making a cancellation, please state the booking number, name and access date. The guest may send supporting documents for the cancellation at a later date. Until the documents have been received by Astrid Lindgren’s World, the booking will remain with Astrid Lindgren’s World chalet village & campsite. Doctor’s certificates must reach us no later than 30 days after the date of cancellation.
The cancellation insurance fee is a non-refundable premium.
