Traditional autumn market
Astrid Lindgren’s World opens 29 October - 6 November for autumn half-term with Autumn & Handicraft Market.There is a lot going on in Astrid Lindgren’s World during the autumn half-term.
That Emil, Pippi Longstocking as well as Rasmus and the Tramp are here everyday with their families and friends. New this year is separate evening shows on a number of evenings in our new Matt’s Fort. During the day there are more than 60 exhibitors and artisans, many of them showcasing their trade, with goods for the upcoming Christmas. There is also glass blowing as well as wood sculptors and on some days the Småland Hussar and the Eksjö Hemvärn Orchestra pay the park a visit.

Many of our restaurants will be open during the market days so you will never have to walk around hungry or thirsty during your visit.
Shops
In addition to all the exhibitors, our Book and Souvenir shop is open. Here you can find great souvenirs as well as Christmas gifts available exclusively at Astrid Lindgren’s World.
Theatre programme
Pippi Longstocking and That Emil are in their settings performing scenes from the books. Rasmus and the Tramp, joined by Paradis-Oskar can be found strolling around the park.
