Weekend opening
We are open Fridays-Sundays in September and welcome you to come and visit Pippi Longstocking and her friends, That Emil with his family as well as Ronja the Robber’s Daughter and all the robbers in Matt’s Forest. Seacrow Island is also open and ready to take you along on a fairy tale journey through the archipelago, as is our cinema showing short snippets of Astrid Lindgren films, and last but not least, all our settings are open for free play.

Friday - Sunday 10.00-17.00
Food service
To have enough energy to play and get up to mischief with Pippi and Emil, you have to have a tummy full of good food. During our weekend opening hours, the restaurants Majkens Mat and Hamnmagasinet are open, as are the School Street grill and the Hot Dog Stand. In the Seacrow Island Café and Gammelgården’s Café you can find both simpler fare as well as an assortment of pastries. Additionally, Skogsnästet, the Waffle House and the Town Hotel pancake buffet are open.
Shops
Our Bookshop, the Pippi Shop, Handelsboden, the Woodshed and our souvenir shop Alms General Store, with an array of fun things for sale exclusively here at Astrid Lindgren’s World, are all open during these days.
Theatre programme
Emil and his family, Pippi and her friends, Ronja and all the robbers in Matt’s Forest as well as the Brothers Lionheart are in their settings Fridays – Sundays in September, performing scenes from the books and playing with the children.
