Here you can play and play

If there was one thing Astrid Lindgren cared about, it was the right of children to just be children. And what is the best expression of this, if not the right to play freely? Free play runs like a thread through many of Astrid Lindgren’s books and of course also at Astrid Lindgren’s World.

Have fun!

The park has plenty of space for both adults and children to play to their heart’s content. Can you think of more fun places to play than Villa Villekulla, Mattis Castle or among the Ancient Mountains? The theatre settings are also a great place to play outside of the scheduled performances.

Here play takes centre stage

There are also spaces that have been created just for play, both outdoors and in, such as Noisy Village, Simon Small’s house and the Play Barn in Katthult, for example.
