By rail: During the summer you can take the train direct to our own station called Astrid Lindgrens Värld, which is just 100 metres from the park entrance.
By car:
From Stockholm take the E4 European Highway to Linköping, then take national highway 34 towards Vimmerby (exit 111). The drive takes about 3 hours.
From Göteborg take national highway 40 to Vimmerby via Jönköping. (Please note, on old maps national highway 40 from Jönköping may still be called national highway 33.) The drive takes about 3 hours.
From Malmö take national highway 23 to Vimmerby via Höör, Växjö and Målilla. The drive takes about 4 hours.
From Helsingborg take the E4 European Highway to Värnamo, then national highway 127 towards Sävsjö (exit 85). From Sävsjö follow national highway 128 to Eksjö, and then national highway 40 to Vimmerby. The drive takes about 4 hours.
