This
is the home of Pippi. She lives all by herself in a
big, yellow house called Villekulla Cottage. If you
are lucky, she may be at home and in a mood for having
fun. At Pippi's, the door is open to anyone who want
to step inside and see how she lives. Sometimes the
thieves Dunder-Karlsson and Blom will make an attempt
to steal Pippi's bag of gold coins. They are, of course,
not at all welcome, nor is Prussiluskan, but she pops
in every now and again anyway.
There
is just enough happening at Pippi's place to make most
children feel as if they were part of the stories about
her. And just as with the other settings in the park,
we have closely followed the illustrations in the original
books when we built Villekulla Cottage.
